Merry Christmas! As we prepare the celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in our next two Sunday services and on Christmas Eve, we wanted to update you on a few key items.

Harvest Staff
As 2020 comes to a close, the elder board is so grateful for our precious staff as they have faithfully served our church in a very challenging year. God has used them in a mighty way as they have not “grown weary of doing good” (Galatians 6:9). Thank you!

Come and See: A Christmas Experience in Lights
This Friday and Saturday, December 18–19, Harvest is hosting the first Come and See: A Christmas Experience in Lights. Will you join us in praying for the Lord to get the glory through this event this weekend. Pray that people would experience not just lights on display, but the Light of the world, Jesus. We thank the Lord for the dozens of staff members and volunteers who served to make this possible.

Hope Centers
One of the unanticipated blessings of 2020 was the expanded opportunities to serve our communities by providing food to those in need. Those food drives and distributions fueled the expanded ministry that we’re calling Hope Centers. We pray God will use these centers to serve our local communities. Watch for more specifics on Hope Centers from your local campuses.

Year-end Giving
We thank the Lord for your faithfulness through giving and how God has provided for our church financially this year. We’re praying that He will continue to provide as the year comes to a close. We invite you to watch this update (again) from December 13, 2020, from our church treasurer, Tim Stoner, and Pastor Tommy Creutz.

Lead Teaching Pastor Update
In our commitment to finding the man God has for our church as our next Lead Teaching Pastor, new candidates will be presented by Vanderbloemen in mid-January 2021. As more details become available, we will communicate those to you. For now, the latest information will be available on our website. Will you continue to pray for this process and this pastor who will play such a key role in the future of Harvest Bible Chapel?

Thankful for You
Whenever we talk to a member of our church family, you always tell us that you’re praying for us.  That is so awesome. It’s wonderful to be lifted up in prayer, and it’s wonderful to know that our members are sticking to, and acting upon, the beliefs and values of Harvest Bible Chapel.  We are so thankful for that.

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.” Philippians 1:3–5

Expectant for all God plans for us in 2021,

The Elders of Harvest Bible Chapel
