It’s a small church, small town, Hallmark experience with thousands and thousands of lights.

Join us on Friday and Saturday, December 10 and 11 beginning at 5:00 PM for Harvest’s outdoor Christmas event we call Come and See.

What is this event?

Drive through thousands of lights, declaring the true meaning of Christmas. We invite you to park and enjoy the Christmas Market, Christmas Carnival, a beautiful Winter Walk through the campus woods, ice sculptures, a lot of food, campfires and marshmallow roasts, hot chocolate, and our new S’mores Cove in a kid-free zone.

How do I enter the campus?

Come and See takes place on the Elgin Campus at 1000 N. Randall Road in Elgin.  The entrance for Come and See is west on Highland Avenue located south of the main entrance of Harvest. Watch for red arrows and signs. It is important to link to the audio where prompted.  You will be greeted by our Welcome Road hosts who will give you free tickets to the Christmas Carnival Games and other items that will make your experience the best.

What does it cost?

We are grateful to host this free event because of their generosity.  If you are able and it’s not too much to ask, we are collecting for Angel Tree, a program of Prison Fellowship. Angel Tree will connect us to children with incarcerated parents. You will see locations to donate throughout the campus.

How do I register?

Registration opens on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at 1:00 PM on this page. Please register ONLY YOUR VEHICLE. Admission is free, but we invite you to spend money that benefits local small businesses at our Christmas Market. When our vendor list is ready, you will find it here.

Invite your neighbors. Bring your family. Come with your co-workers. Plan to fill (don’t come alone!) your car, truck, or SUV and come. We hope you will Come and See. Keep up with the latest on this page.

Q: WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

After your drive-through experience, you are more than welcome to park and visit our Christmas Market, walk our Winter Walk path, check out our new Christmas Carnival and S’mores Cove, warm up next to campfires with free marshmallow roasts, see ice sculptures and enjoy a lot of amazing food.

Q: WHAT SHOULD I BRING? 

Please bring a warm jacket, comfortable walking shoes, mittens/gloves, and a hat so you can enjoy the outdoors for hours. Come hungry and bring money for food/drinks that are available for purchase at our Christmas Market and support local businesses. Bring a bag chair to sit with friends around campfires. Bring friends, family, and coworkers to enjoy this small town, small church, Hallmark experience.

Q: CAN I GET OUT OF MY VEHICLE?

Yes. If you are comfortable, you are more than welcome to walk through our Christmas Carnival Games, Christmas Market or walk our Winter Walk path located around our campus. We ask that you please remain in your vehicle during the drive-through experience.

Q: WHAT IS THE WINTER WALK?

The Winter Walk is a 15-20 minute experience through the walking path of the Elgin Campus. Not handicap accessible.

Q: DO YOU HAVE PUBLIC RESTROOMS AVAILABLE?
Yes. There will be indoor restrooms available on-site.

Q: DO YOU OFFER FOOD OR DRINKS?

Yes. There will be food and drinks available for purchase through our Christmas Market vendors. Free Hot Chocolate and marshmallow roasts are also available.

Q: WILL YOU HAVE LIVE ANIMALS THIS YEAR?

Not this year.  But, we have an amazing FREE Christmas Carnival with real prizes and ice sculptures. You will be very happy.

Q: WHAT COVID SAFETY PROCEDURES ARE BEING TAKEN AT THIS EVENT?

We are recommending masks for those that participate in Come and See. However, we understand this is a matter of personal preference. We will continue to adjust protocols in accordance with the State of Illinois’ mitigation plan.

Q: WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I CAN’T MAKE THE EVENT?

Please look to your confirmation email and cancel your tickets (found at the very bottom of your email). This will automatically open a space for others to reserve a ticket.
