I grew up in a Christian home. I accepted Jesus Christ in my heart when I was around 8-10 years old after I heard at Awana that heaven and hell were real and I didn’t want to go to hell. I fell away from the Lord when I went away to college, but throughout college, I felt that I was missing something.
When I graduated, my girlfriend of 4 years broke up with me and I was diagnosed with cancer all within a month. During that time, I rededicated my life to the Lord.
Since then, the Lord continues to do a work in me, living out Philippians 1:6. “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
I serve as Vice President of New Business Development for an office furniture company.
My wife Kristy and I just celebrated 25 years of marriage and we attend the Elgin Campus.
