Week 1, October 18–24
Who You Are, God and What You’ve Done

October 18

Praise God, you have been, and still are, Mighty to Save.

Thank you, Lord, for saving me and setting me free from the penalty of sin.

Verse: Zephaniah 3:17a

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a Mighty One who will save”

October 19

Praise God, you have been, and still are, our Abba Father.

Thank you, Lord, for drawing us closer to YOU in the midst of our fears.

Verse: Romans 8:15

“For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba, Father!”

October 20

Praise God, you have been, and still are, the generous Provider.

Thank you, Lord, for meeting our deepest needs and providing for our “daily bread”.

Verse: Philippians 4:19

“And my God shall supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus”

October 21

Praise God, you have been, and still are, the loving Father of the least of these.

Thank you, Lord, for growing our hearts of compassion during this pandemic.

Verse: Matthew 25:40

“And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”

October 22

Praise God, you have been, and still are, the absolute Truth and the Light to our path.

Thank you, Lord, for giving us Your Word to guide us through these challenging times.

Verse: Psalm 119:105

“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

October 23

Praise God, you have been, and still are, our Father who has chosen us to be Your children.

Thank you, Lord, for reminding us through this Covid season, of the blessing it is to belong to the family of God.

Verse: I John 3:1a

“See what kind of love the Father has given to us that we should be called the children of God: and so we are!”

October 24

Praise God, you have been, and still are, Perfect Love.

Thank you, Lord, for loving us despite our complacency and wrong choices.

Verse: Romans 5:8

“But God shows his love for us in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us.”

Week 2: October 25–31
Do this in Me, Lord

October 25

Oh Lord, renew in me humble gratitude for rescuing my soul.

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through Christ Jesus.” 1 Corinthians 15:57

October 26

Oh Lord, help me FIX my eyes on Jesus, despite financial, medical, relational, cultural or other circumstances around me that steal my security in Jesus.

“…and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith…”  Hebrews 12:1b-2a  NIV

October 27

Oh Lord, give me eyes to really see the lost around me with courage and fervor for their salvation.

“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people…it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:1–4

October 28

Oh Lord, make me known for how I love and forgive others, inside and outside of my home.

“Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, humility, meekness and patience . . . forgiving each other, as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.  And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:12-14

October 29

Oh Lord, grow in my passion and discipline to push past complacency to hunger and thirst for more of You.

“My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?”  Psalm 42:2

October 30

Oh Lord, lead me to stand firm against evil by confessing sin, turning from unrighteous ways & putting on the armor of God every day.

“Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil, hold fast to what is good.”  Romans 12:9

October 31

Oh Lord, reveal to me the specific good works God prepared beforehand for me to walk in.

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”  Matthew 5:16

Week 3: November 1–7
Do this in our Church, Lord

November 1

Mighty God, we are humbly asking for REVIVAL in our church, so we might see the victory of Christ exalted in our day.

“Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?”  Psalm 85:6

November 2

Compassionate Christ, give us a heart for the communities around us, so we might be a beacon of hope to this hurting world.

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Mark 12:31a

November 3

Spirit of God, help us become a House of Prayer, so we might praise you more and hear more clearly from YOU.

“And He was teaching them and saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’?”  Mark 11:17a

November 4

Great Reconciler, reconcile us to one another, amidst our differences, so we might show the world that YOU are the way to unity.

“…in Christ God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.”  2 Corinthians 5:19

November 5

Holy Healer, heal us from our wounds so deep and free us from our strongholds, that we might be whole and more fully able to love and receive the fullness of life available to us through Your Son.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”   Psalm 147:3

November 6

Perfect Provider, continue to provide for us financially and miraculously cover our debt because NOTHING is impossible through Your Power.

“For nothing will be impossible with God.”  Luke 1:37

November 7

Beloved Holy Spirit, breathe life into our ministries so that more kids, students, young adults, men, and women will come to know the amazing love of Jesus . . . hat their walk with Jesus would multiply into rich discipleship.

“And Jesus came and said to them…’ Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:18-20
